A note from our Co-Founder
VGS was born in a cafe in downtown San Francisco. Ten years ago, we were two engineering leaders who had just exited our YC-backed company to Stripe. Looking for new challenges, we worked alongside early customers to rethink how sensitive data flows across the web, developing our tokenization and vaulting architecture from scratch.
Today, VGS powers payments infrastructure for the world’s most recognizable brands, holding 9 billion records in our vaults and handling 10 billion events every month.
