Сompliance Academy

Today, we’re happy to announce the introduction of our new Compliance Academy, a resource where you can learn all about compliances and regulations such as PCI, SOC2, GDPR and CCPA.

In the last 2 years at VGS we’ve seen a significant uptick in interest regarding regulation. Every day we field multiple questions from people trying to understand if their company is “in scope” and if so, what they need to do about it. There are a number of reasons for this interest but primarily it appears to be driven by uncertainty. Both startups and established companies alike face the prospect of a world with increased regulation and significantly stiffer penalties for failure to comply.

Start Learning Today!

With this in mind we’ve created the Compliance Academy, a place for both beginners and experienced professionals to educate themselves on what these compliances and regulations mean, and how they can avoid costly mistakes. The Compliance Academy consists of a number of lessons that you can work through at your own pace. The screenshot below is from one of our PCI Compliance lessons that features our answers to the top 10 most asked PCI-related questions that we receive here at VGS.

Lesson - Top 10 Questions about PCI Compliance

Fundamentally, how you comply with these regulations really comes down to whether you are willing to spend the time and resources to do it yourself or if you’d rather offload the responsibility to a solution like VGS. Obviously we’re biased but our objective for the academy is really to educate you on these compliances and regulations so that you can make your own informed decision.
